One person was killed and eight others injured in an overnight Russian attack on Kyiv that included ballistic missiles, local authorities said.

Moscow launched 41 missiles and 125 attack drones, largely targeting the Ukrainian capital, starting at 1.30am local time and continuing for several hours, according to the Ukrainian air force.
